‘Alert Level 2 in NCR to bring back more jobs’

Presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., lauded the government for placing Metro Manila in a more relaxed Alert Level 2, saying it is a move toward restoring economic vitality and creating more jobs.

Marcos said this was his earlier call to the government – to open businesses to recover and revive the country’s economy.

“We are thankful to the government for the more relaxed alert level status. I am sure this will create more jobs and help spur economic recovery,” he said.

It will be recalled that the country’s unemployment rate rose to 8.9 percent in September 2021, which is considered the highest this year.

“We are hoping that more businesses will reopen as more consumers are out and about to patronize their businesses,” Marcos said.

At the same time, Marcos called on the public to continue to follow health protocols despite the eased community quarantine protocols.

“Let us go on with our lives, but let us still wear our face masks, let us always wash our hands and follow the health standard of our government. Let’s fight COVID-19 together,” Marcos said.
