The Jollibee Group has partnered with the local government units of Antipolo, Caloocan, and Taguig to vaccinate over 700 restaurant frontliners working on-site in the cities’ Jollibee, Greenwich, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Burger King, and Red Ribbon stores.
Through the partnership, some 554 restaurant frontliners from 83 Jollibee Group stores in Antipolo, Rizal were given free COVID-19 vaccines. Through Taguig City’s #RoadtoZero Vaccination Program, 105 employees were inoculated, while another 59 received their jabs in Caloocan.
“The Jollibee Group will continue linking up with other local government units to optimize the available supply of vaccines in the country. We are happy to support these initiatives that will help keep people safe and protected,” said Pepot Miñana, Jollibee Group Chief Sustainability and Public Affairs Officer.
Early this month, the company also started rolling out its own #JabforJoy! Vaccination Program for its employees. The program will benefit teams from Jollibee, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Greenwich, Burger King, Red Ribbon, Panda Express, PHO24, commissaries, distribution centers, support functions, and the Jollibee Group Foundation.
