Famous Internet content creator Nuseir Yassin, better known as Nas Daily, has announced that his group will launch 12 new academies in the Philippines to be led by different Filipino personalities.
"We are going to help hundreds of Filipino (content) creators become teachers! Because knowledge is the only thing that increases when you share it with others," the Arab-Israeli Nas said in a Facebook post.
Nas Academy is a platform that offers courses that help people tell their stories using video. The 12 new academies under it include content creation, journalism, finance, design, art, fashion, basketball, and money management.
Nas also announced that 12 personalities in the country will teach each of the 12 new academies.
Catriona Gray, the 2018 Miss Universe, will be teaching how to be a beauty queen. Jessica Soho, an award-winning broadcaster and journalist of GMA Network, will teach journalism.
Michael Cinco, a Filipino couturier based in Dubai, will teach fashion. Erwann Heussaff, a famous YouTube vlogger for food, will teach content creation.
Moira Dela Torre, a famous singer, will teach songwriting. Whang-od, the Filipino traditional artist, will share her experience of becoming the first female tattoo artist in her tribe.
Anthony Francisco, known as the "Visual Father of Baby Groot" and a senior visual development artist at Marvel Studios, will show how to design creatures.
Jason Magbanua, the director and visual storyteller, will teach how to make captivating video content. Chinkee Tan, a motivational speaker and wealth expert, will teach money management.
Carlo Ople, tech vlogger, will teach how to turn a content creation hobby into a business. James Deakin, a Filipino-British journalist, will teach effective communication. Finally, Mavrick Bautista, the owner of Mav's Phenomenal Basketball, will teach basketball.
