Only 23 percent of Filipinos believe that the number of positive COVID-19 cases being reported by the government is “probably right,” while 39 percent claimed that it is overreported, a recent Social Weather Stations survey showed.
The poll showed Filipinos have “mixed opinions” on the accuracy of the positive infections and COVID-related deaths being reported by the government.
The reported number of COVID-19 positives is seen as least accurate in Metro Manila, the SWS said.
