The Philippine Airlines on Monday cautioned the public against a website spreading bogus PAL promotion.
"Please be advised that there are fake sites online, the latest of which uses an old PAL ad offering 'as low as PHP80 domestic one-way economy fares and 80% off on economy base fare of international flights," said PAL spokesperson Cielo Villaluna.
The website lure and mislead the public into thinking that the site is legitimate. The site asks for personal information, including bank details.
"We warn the public against logging on and engaging with these sites as doing so will compromise or breach the privacy of your personal data," Villaluna said.
She reminded the people that PAL tickets are sold via online booking on its official website, PAL ticket offices, and authorized travel agencies.
