Bishop Roderick Pabillo of the Archdiocese of Manila, will lead a concelebrated Mass on Wednesday to commemorate the 103rd anniversary of the Fatima Apparition with an urgent plea to the Blessed Virgin Mary for her intercession to stop the spread of the pandemic coronavirus.

In an interview, Rev. Fr. Carlos V. Reyes of the Our Lady of Fatima Parish Church in Mandaluyong City, said that a concelebrated Mass will be held at the Manila Cathedral.

Co-celebrants of the Mass are the bishops from the parishes of the cities of Mandaluyong, Makati, Pasay and San Juan. The Mass will start at 12 noon.

The Mass can be viewed on live streaming on Ave Maria TV or Radio Veritas 846.

Fr. Reyes said an Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be offered during the Mass to ask the intercession of the Mother of God to put an end to the raging COVID-19 that has afflicted over four million people worldwide, killed more than 280,000, and some 1.4 million recovered as of Tuesday morning.
