Over 10,000 job opportunities await jobseekers in a mega job fair under the government’s “Build, Build, Build” infrastructure program on Sunday at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, the Department of Public Works and Highways said.
The jobs fair is in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment., Department of Transportation, Bases Conversion and Development Authority the Department of Finance, Department of Budget and Management and National Economic and Development Authority, Public Works Secretary Mark Villar said.
President Rodrigo Duterte will grace the job fair, which will run from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm at the SMX Convention Center, he said.
Several companies from the construction sector will participate in the event, he said.
On top of the thousands of jobs from the “Build, Build, Build” contractors, additional job openings will also be offered by companies invited by the Department of Trade and Industry through the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines.
