Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has limited the travel of the so-called roll-on roll-off (RORO) buses to Mindanao.

This is to avoid the situation wherein passengers are stranded in several ports as tropical storm Vinta batters several provinces in Mindanao and Visayas.

LTFRB Spokesperson Aileen Lizada says, buses will ride RORO vessels from ports of Luzon and only up to Bohol.

The buses are currently not allowed to bring their passengers to their final points of destination.

Meanwhile, as of today, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) has put the death toll due to tropical depression Urduja at 45.
