The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is set to substantially increase tomorrow (Sunday).

Petron has announced that its LPG price will go up by P 4.90 per kilo on the first day of October.

This translates to an increase of P 53.9 for every 11-kilo LPG tank.

The calamities from hurricanes that struck the United States are being cited as reason for the price hike.

Meanwhile, the price of diesel and gas are also expected to increase next week.
