Filipino pilot dies in New Jersey plane crash

A Filipino co-pilot was among the two persons who died in a plane crash in New Jersey.

Reports identify the victim as Jeffrey Alino, 33 years old, who lived in Union, New Jersey.

Alino and the main pilot, who has yet to be identified, was trying to land a Learjet at Teterboro airport when the accident happened on Monday.

The small plane crashed into a nearby parking lot.

Strong winds were prevailing in the area at the time the tragedy struck.
