DAVAO CITY—The Regional Trial Court of Panabo City issued an arrest warrant against supposed death squad hit man Edgar Matobato and Sonny Custodio over a kidnapping case in 2002.
The court order was issued on March 27 by Presiding Judge Dorothy P. Montejo-Gonzaga of Branch 4. The court did not grant bail for the two accused.
“No bail bond is recommended for the provisional liberty of each accused in the above-entitled case,” the court ordered.
The kidnapping was supposedly perpetrated against alleged international terrorist Sali Makdum, who was living in Island Garden City of Samal along with his family.
Makdum’s wife filed the complaint before the National Bureau of Investigation against Matobato and Custodio.
