The Supreme Court has cancelled work in its offices in Manila on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
This is in view of the procession of the Black Nazarene.
The order covers the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals and the first and the second levels of trial courts in Manila.
Manila City Hall had earlier cancelled work on the day of procession.
It has also cancelled school classes in all levels in the city on Tuesday.
Clean up of streets in Binondo and Sta Cruz in Manila has begun.
Personnel from the city hall and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) are taking charge.
They are removing street vendors from the route of the Nazarene procession.
They are also conducting minor road repairs in these areas.
