A Metro Rail Transit – 3 (MRT-3) train car detached from the other coaches as the train was travelling southbound in Makati City.
This incident happened at 9:03 am today between Buendia and Ayala stations.
Passengers were made to alight from the train and security guards assisted them as they were walking along the tracks.
The MRT implemented a limited transportation service for this lane following this technical trouble.
For 30 minutes, other commuters could only travel from North Avenue in Quezon City to Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City.

Normal operations resumed at 9:30 am.
Later in the afternoon, management of the MRT is set to give details on this latest problem.
