Yesterday at 5:23 am, as rains due to Tropical Depression Maring were pouring, the MRT-3's service stopped at the southbound lane of Shaw Boulevard due to trouble with a wiper.

Then after two hours, at 7:23 am, another glitch happened at Ayala Avenue in Makati City.

Last Monday, the MRT's trains failed to function three times.

In all of the total of seven instances of trouble at the MRT in the first three days of the week, passengers were made to get off the trains and find other modes of transportation.
