Shabu worth P 88M seized in Albuera, Leyte mayor’s home

About 11 kilos of shabu worth P 88-million have been found at the house of Albuera, Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa.

This was discovered during a raid by police at about 6 am Wednesday.

The operation was conducted upon the tip received by authorities from the men of Kerwin, the mayor’s son.

Also seized inside the mayor’s home were some high-powered firearms and tools for manufacturing explosives.

Some of Kerwin Espinosa’s workers have confessed to the police about their role in their boss’ alleged drug operations.

They say, they served as his private army.
