The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has assured it is fully prepared and mobilized to handle the challenges posed by Tropical Storm “Enteng.”
NCRPO director M/Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. has deployed 434 police personnel to key areas to ensure safety and security in the metropolis.
Among these personnel, 20 officers are assigned to evacuation centers to provide assistance to displaced individuals and families.
In addition, 261 officers are securing vital installations to maintain order and protect critical infrastructure while a total of 173 traffic management personnel are actively working to ensure that roads remain clear and safe, despite adverse weather conditions.
Relief operations teams are prepared to provide assistance to both uniformed personnel and civilians in need of immediate aid.
“As we continue to navigate the effects of Tropical Storm Enteng, I strongly encourage everyone to stay vigilant, heed the advisories issued by local authorities, and take all necessary precautions to ensure their safety,” said Nartatez.
“Rest assured, the NCRPO is fully dedicated to doing everything within our capabilities to protect and serve our communities during this challenging time,” he added.
