The Green and Low-Carbon Development Forum of China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CEEC), a sub-event of the 19th China-ASEAN Expo, was held in Nanning, south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Sept. 15.

It marked the first time that the CEEC attended the China-ASEAN Expo as the chief strategic partner.

Participants in the forum had in-depth exchanges on the new trends of digital intelligence integration in the energy industry, which laid a solid foundation for the multi-level and multi-sector energy cooperation between China and ASEAN in the future.

During the 19th China- ASEAN Expo and China- ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, the CEEC inked seven contracts with clients from Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines in the sectors of wind power, photovoltaic power, industrial park, and mining amounting to 13.5 billion yuan (USD1.9 billion) yuan.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member countries constitute a key overseas market of the CEEC.

In the last three years, the CEEC has signed contracts of about 150 billion yuan with ASEAN countries, including the Philippines, providing digital, green, and low-carbon solutions for the latter’s development.

The CEEC will keep following the green and low-carbon development philosophy and contribute its strength to deepening China-ASEAN economic cooperation and to promoting ASEAN countries’ economic and social development.
