BBM still tops OCTA’s April survey at 57%, Leni at 22%

Presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. continued to dominate the latest OCTA Research survey even as Vice President Leni Robredo posted her largest jump in her voters’ preference rating.

Marcos logged 57 percent preference votes out of the 1,200 respondents in the OCTA survey conducted from April 2 to 6.

The survey, with a ±3 percent margin of error, showed an increase from Marcos’ 55 percent preference votes in February.

Robredo was at second place with 22 percent preference — a seven percentage point jump from the 15 percent she recorded in February.

Broken down per region, Marcos has 35 percent preference votes in the National Capital Region, 66 percent in Balance Luzon, 56 percent in the Visayas region, and 50 percent in Mindanao.

Marcos was also the top choice among all socio-economic class.

Robredo, on the other hand, recorded a 35 percent preference rating in the National Capital Region, 21 percent in Balance Luzon, 23 percent in the Visayas, and 23 percent in Mindanao.

At third place was Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso at 9 percent, slightly lower than his 11 percent in February; followed by Senator Manny Pacquiao with 7 percent, down from 10 percent; and Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson with 4 percent, slightly higher than his 3 percent in February.
