Robredo’s Swab Cab offers free house-to-house antigen testing

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) Swab Cab in Makati City has started offering free house-to-house antigen testing to residents in response to the ongoing surge in COVID-19 cases in the country.

Vice President Leni Robredo visited the Swab Cab yesterday as the OP’s medical team visited pre-identified symptomatic patients and close contacts for their antigen test at home.

The Swab Cab visited barangays Poblacion, Pembo, Rizal, West Rembo, Pio del Pilar, Guadalupe Nuevo, San Antonio, and Palanan.

These barangays were identified by the Makati local government as the ones having the highest positivity rates in the city.

Robredo is advocating for free mass testing to identify individuals who have contracted COVID-19 and help mitigate the spread of the disease.

Meanwhile, Robredo has signed a covenant with various environmental groups that outlined her green agenda if elected President in the May 9 polls.

The covenant was signed with representatives from LILAK, or the Purple Action for Indigenous Women; NASSA-Caritas Philippine Ecology Program; Healthcare Without Harm; Environmental Studies Institute – Miriam College; Alyansa Tigil Mina; Philippine Permaculture Association; GreenAgenda4Leni; and EnviRobredo.

Robredo vowed to put forward clear and coherent land use policies, food sovereignty, elimination of plastic pollution, climate justice, a minerals management regime that prioritizes local community development, and transition to safe, clean, and affordable energy, among others.
