Vice President and presidential aspirant Leni Robredo on Sunday said she was heartbroken after visiting the victims of “Odette” in the Visayas region.

During her BISErbisyong Leni weekly program over dwIZ, Robredo through video messages shared her “heartbreaking” experiences of typhoon victims still suffering from hunger, and lack of power, potable water to drink, and communication services.

In Bohol, most roads remained impassable, and that many of the people there continued to stay on top of their roof, she lamented.

She said victims in Dinagat Islands were crying out of “helplessness” and” also of joy” when they saw her visit the place to provide relief assistance.

“The problem in Dinagat was that all prepositioned goods were rain-soaked due to the typhoon,” she said.
