BREAKING: BBM in front with almost 19m votes from 57% of precincts

Former senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. garnered nearly 19 million votes in the initial partial and unofficial tally of votes for President released by the Commission on Elections covering over half of precincts as of 9 p.m. Monday.

Marcos had 18,975,119 votes, over double those garnered by Vice President Leni Robredo, who had 8,979,607 in the unofficial returns as of 8:47 p.m. from 57.76% of precincts and about 32,807,635 votes cast, according to the Comelec.

For vice president, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio was in front with 18,588,524 votes, over triple that of Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan with 5,696,594.

Among senatorial candidates, actor Robin Padilla was on top of the “Magic 12” with 14,309,020 votes, followed by Rep. Loren Legarda with 13,939,469 and broadcaster Raffy Tulfo with 13,356,368.

The results were sourced from the Comelec transparency server, which is housed at the University of Santo Tomas (UST).
