Caloocan dad sets challenge for teachers

In line with the recognition of teachers’ sacrifices and hard work during the COVID 19 pandemic, Caloocan City Councilor Orvince Howard Hernandez launched a Tiktok challenge for them.

This was after the success of Tiktok Challenges for mothers and fathers last May and June in time with the celebration of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day

Hernandez, knowns as the Milenyal na Konsehal, said this challenge dubbed as ‘Lodi kong Dancer sina Mam at Sir’  was a way to show importance to the contribution of teachers for the celebration of World Teachers’ Day on October.

The Tiktok Challenge is specifically for teachers of Caloocan City District 1 while they are still preparing other contest for Districts 2 and 3.

Submission of Tiktok entry started on August 25 and ends on September 10 and the winners will be announce during the celebration of World Teachers’ Day on October.

Prizes at stake are P30,000 for grand winner; P20,000 for 1st runner up and P10,000 for 2nd runner plus surprise prizes for other contestants.

Schools in Caloocan District 1 are encouraged to join by forming a group of teachers with less than 10 members each.

Contestants may send in their entries consisting of 2-3 minute dance video through convincedarmy@gmail.com including the Tiktok Link, Name of School, Name of Teachers, Address, Barangay and Contact Number.
