The new product segment, dubbed DMCI Homes Ascend, aims to offer right-sized homes near university towns and business centers with commercial areas, co-working spaces, and convenient indoor amenities and facilities.

To test the market, DMCI Homes president Alfredo Austria, revealed the company is looking to utilize its property near the College of St. Benilde and De La Salle University in Malate, Manila.

“We hope to provide quality living spaces that better fit the needs of young working professionals and students especially with the evolving lifestyle brought about by the pandemic,” Austria explained.

The company is looking to offer a mix of Studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom units in a project slated for launch before the year ends.
