World’s biggest boyband BTS closed the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Festival performing in colorful sets from a sound studio in Korea.
After an introduction from Elvis Duran in New York, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook started their set performing five of their biggest hits including “Dynamite,” “Make It Right,” and “Boy with Luv.”
The 2020 iHeartRadio Music Festival, which also saw explosive performances from Coldplay, Keith Urban, Usher, Miley Cyrus, Kane Brown, Migos, Khalid, and Bon Jovi, was the opening salvo of Smart GigaFest, a month-long thanksgiving celebration featuring world-class entertainment, esports tournaments, digital innovations, and promos and freebies to give back to its patrons and new subscribers.
According to Jane Jimenez-Basas, Smart SVP and Head for Consumer Wireless Business, the fest is the telco’s “simple but massive way” of giving back to their subscribers who continue to entrust their digital life to them especially during these unprecedented moments.

Cyber fans were able to watch the performances of their favorite artists in Los Angeles and Nashville through the Philippine exclusive streaming on GigaFest.Smart on Sept. 19 and 20. The television airing via TV5 will be on Sept. 27 and Oct. 4.
On the OPM front, music lovers must not miss the GigaFest Virtual Concert on Sept. 26 as Smart gathers some of today’s biggest Filipino artists to unveil a new simple, easy, and smart way to enjoy the Giga Life. Subscribers can also expect exclusive promos and giveaways on this special day.
Philippines’ first digital Korean Film Festival
For film buffs, Smart has teamed up with the Korean Cultural Center of the Philippines for the first-ever online run of the Korean Film Festival happening until Oct. 2. The film fest features the works of Korea’s biggest stars and Smart endorsers Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin.
