Korean dramas almost always hit three bull’s-eyes: great storyline, lovable and relatable characters, and oh-so stylish ensembles—so much so that some pieces turn into must-haves (e.g. Yoon Se-ri’s lady-boss sunglasses).
This time, however, it’s a necklace we saw in multiple occasions, in different K-dramas.
In the “morning after” scene in It’s Okay To Not Be Okay, Ko Mun-yeong dons a pretty floral off-the-shoulder dress and a pretty necklace.
The same shiny jewelry also makes an appearance in Itaewon Class, in that cute scene between Jo Yi-seo (played by Kim Da-mi) and Park Sae-ro-yi (Park Seo-joon) where he catches her online shopping in his office. She asks him to buy her the pretty necklace she was pointing on the screen, fast forward to when Jo Yi-seo is hospitalized for working too much, she discovers the iconic Tiffany blue paper bag with the rose gold necklace with diamonds inside on her bedside table.
The necklace stars in two more K-dramas that coincidentally Park Seo-joon both appeared in as the male lead—What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim and She Was Pretty. In What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, we see Kim Mi-so (Park Min-young) wearing the necklace and Lee Young-joon chatting and having a drink on his sofa. Fans who’ve watched the show know what happens next.
In She Was Pretty, Kim Hye-jin (Hwang Jung-eum) dons the sparkly piece to complement her pearl earrings and adorn her neck while wearing a printed button-down during a The Most staff meeting.
