In the recent digital press conference of her new TV5 talk show, Chika, Besh, host Pauleen Luna couldn’t hide her being a big fan of Sarah Geronimo.
She picked the Pop Star Royalty as the artist she wants to interview in their show if given the chance.
“I’m a certified Popster!” she averred. “I really want to interview Sarah especially now that she’s married to Matteo (Guidicelli). It would be nice to ask her how she is, how her married life is doing plus all her plans. I’m sure it will be one exciting interview.”
The TV host also had the same answer when asked if there’s an artist from other networks that she would like to work with.
“Still, it’s Sarah G. My Popster heart. Sarah Geronimo,” she exclaimed.
As proof of her being a Sarah fanatic, Pauleen shared that she even greeted her idol and Matteo when they got married last February.
“When Matteo posted his wedding toast with Sarah on Instagram, I dropped my greeting. I wrote, ‘Congratulations neighbor!’ In my posts, it’s also evident that I’m a Sarah fan. Like last January, when I posted my video with Baeby Baste while we’re dancing to the tune of Sarah’s hit song, ‘Tala,’’’ she related.
Meanwhile, the actress-host shared her thoughts on their program being compared with other shows in the same format.
“I guess, we should look inwards instead of outwards. I think we’re already successful if we know that we are able to help and give inspiration, joy, and smile to our viewers,” she said.
Apart from Chika, Besh, Pauleen is also busy co-hosting Eat Bulaga! with husband Vic Sotto.
“It’s a perk since you are able to work and yet, you’re with your family. That’s my major adjustment. I tape twice a week for Chika, Besh. But I’m very happy that Vic is supportive of me. He lets me do what I want to do,” she ended.

The 43rd Gawad Urian Awards has already released its official list of nominees and both Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards were cited for their performances in the movie Hello, Love, Goodbye.
Alden is nominated for Best Actor where he will lock horns with Jansen Magpusao (John Denver Trending), Elijah Canlas (Kalel), Gold Azeron (Metamorphosis), Louise Abuel (Edward), Royce Cabrera (Fuccbois), Gio Gahol (Sila-Sila), Oliver Aquino (Jino to Mari), film director Joel Lamangan (Ang Hupa) and Raymond Bagatsing (Quezon’s Game).
Meanwhile, Kathryn will face stiff competition from Nadine Lustre (Ulan), Ruby Ruiz (Iska), Angie Ferro (Lola Igna), Maxine Eigenmann (Verdict), Alessandra de Rossi (Lucia), Jean Garcia (Watch Me Kill), Janine Gutierrez (Babae at Baril), Bela Padilla (Mañanita), Sue Prado (Alma-ata), and the late Anita Linda (Circa).
Many people wonder if the two mainstream stars can pull off wins for their performances.
