Glenfiddich is releasing an exclusive limited edition whisky to raise funds to support COVID-19 efforts in Speyside community.
Only 450 bottles of Glenfiddich 2007 (Cask No. 25427) Spirit of Speyside Distillery Edition 2020 hand-selected by Malt Master Brian Kinsman are auctioned off at whiskyauctioneer.com from June 17 to 22. All proceeds are going to local Speyside causes and those most affected by COVID-19.
In honor of the Spirit of Speyside Festival, which has been cancelled this year due to the pandemic, Kinsman handpicked this special liquid which has spent the last 13 years maturing in the darkness of Glenfiddich’s Warehouse 26.
Finished in a sherry cask, Glenfiddich Spirit of Speyside Distillery Edition 2020 has been bottled at the unusually high strength of 65.7 percent ABV and tastes silky smooth and sweet, with a rich citrus and cinnamon-infused apple fruitiness.
