600 bundles of laundry detergent and 1,200 pieces of bath soaps were deployed for frontline workers and volunteers responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in Barangay Labangon, Cebu City.

Proper sanitation and hygiene play a crucial role in combating the spread of the coronavirus that caused the COVID-19 pandemic. Through its Agapay Sanitasyon program, MWF is glad to partner with like-minded organizations in bringing hygiene and sanitation products to households and health workers.

Volunteers from the barangay receive the donations from Manila Water Foundation and Estate Water – Cebu.

Last week, MWF, in coordination with Estate Water-Cebu, sent 600 bundles of laundry detergent and 1,200 pieces of bath soaps for affected households in Barangay Labangon, Cebu City. MWF also provided nearly 300 pieces of hygiene kits in support of Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation's (PDRF) and Airbnb's initiative to temporarily house health workers. These efforts aim to help prevent the spread of the virus as the volunteers and health workers continue to serve amid the pandemic.
