The Department of Information and Communications Technology is teaming up with the government of Zambales to provide free access points in the province the Free Wi-Fi for All program.

DICT Undersecretary for Legal Affairs, Policy, Planning and Finance Jose Arturo De Castro stressed the importance of the Free Wi-Fi for All Program in the government’s effort to empower the Filipino people in the digital age.

“Each and every citizen, regardless of where he or she is in the region, will be empowered not just for education but opportunities for work because of the connectivity that the government will bring through the Free Wi-Fi for All program,” De Castro added.

“It is hoped that with the signing of this Memorandum of Agreement, the framework of continuing support and mutual cooperation between the province of Zambales and the DICT will be maintained,” he said.
