Whether the rumor that Pia Wurtzbach is in love and currently in a relationship is true or not, one thing is quite noticeable, the queen is glowing. And she reveals why.

Pia Wurtzbach keeps it real
THE QUEEN’S SECRET. Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach finally reveals why she’s glowing and looking more youthful than ever—she owes it to a non-invasive skin lifting and tightening treatment.

The Miss Universe 2015 shares the secret to her youthful skin is Ultherapy, a US FDA-cleared non-invasive treatment used to lift and tighten the skin on the brows, chin, and neck areas, and improve lines on the décolletage.

Wurtzbach started her #BeYoutifulStory with Ultherapy in 2018 and has since then undergone the treatment twice.

“I’m getting the results I wanted and expected,” shares the 30-year-old beauty queen and model. “What I love about it is that it doesn’t change or alter the way I look, rather it enhances the features I already have.”

The treatment uses Microfocused Ultrasound with Visualization to kick-start the body’s natural collagen production by targeting the innermost foundational layer of the skin at 4.5 mm.

“Ultherapy’s the only one that uses this kind of technology,” says Dr. Sabrina Fabi, a leader in cosmetic surgery and an official expert on the said treatment. “It’s on a microscopic level. It’s more precise so you won’t harm the surrounding cells.”

Ultherapy is not the same as High Intensity Focused Ultrasound treatments that break up the fat which, according to Dr. Fabi, is counterproductive because it’s fat that actually gives the skin a more youthful look.

“Before having my first ever Ultherapy treatment, I made sure to do my research—I consulted my trusted derma, Dr. CRB, and checked the authenticity of the machine,” shares Wurtzbach.

Because of Ultherapy’s significant results and notable patient satisfaction, there has been an increase of fake machines claiming to give the same results at a cheaper price. “These copycat machines don’t go through rigorous investigations and clinical trials in order to prove their safety and efficacy,” reveals Dr. Fabi.

“Those taking a risk with these machines are also taking a risk on their skin. They’ll either leave with no change at all or worse, a permanent damage,” she adds.

Pia prefers treatments that do not change or alter the way she looks, rather enhances it.

Ultherapy currently has 79 partner clinics across the Philippines, all of which have an Authenticity Plaque and Authenticity Seal.
