Taguig deploys team to assist Taal evacuees

The city government of Taguig has deployed a special team to assist local governments of Batangas and Cavite in their rescue operation for the families affected by the Taal Volcano eruption.

At around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, the Taguig Rescue team and the City Social Welfare and Development Office arrived at the Tagaytay City Centrum where the relief goods and other assistance eruption were turned over.

Tagaytay City Social Welfare and Development Office head Elma Patawe officially received the city’s assistance for the victims of the calamity.

Among the relief goods delivered and handed over by Taguig include boxes of bottled water, facial masks (N95), hygiene kits (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, face towel, shampoo) and family food packs (rice, noodles, canned goods, coffee, biscuits).

Taguig City firetrucks also distributed water to residents of Barangay Kaybagal Central in Tagaytay.
