Ford Philippines recently dominated the pickup category of the 2019-2020 Auto Focus Media’s Choice Awards with the Ranger Raptor winning three out of the four awards in its category.
The Ranger Raptor was awarded Best Design, Best Engine Performance, and Best in Safety Features in the pickup category. The fourth award is Best Value for Money.
“The Ranger Raptor is definitely one of the most innovative vehicles that Ford has ever produced. We thank the organizers and judges from the Philippine motoring media for this recognition for the Ranger Raptor which continues to make our Ford showrooms busy. The 2019-2020 Auto Focus Media’s Choice Awards” (AFMCA) is an equally important component of Sunshine TV’s Automobile Industry Merit Program. The AFMCA aims to recognize the automobile industry’s continuing efforts to provide car owners and motorists with the best on-board features, styling, performance and overall value. A select group of recognized motoring media professionals and practitioners comprised the AFMCA Voters’ Panel.
Ford has been a consistent award recipient in the Auto Focus Media’s Choice Awards and Auto Focus People’s Choice Awards. Last year, the Ford Mustang was named Sports Car of the Year in the People’s Choice category. The Ford Ranger was awarded Best Design – Pick-up of the Year while the Ford Expedition received the Best in Safety Features—Large SUV of the Year award.
