The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) inspected today the existence of possible flying voters in Pasay City.

COMELEC Spokesperson James Jimenez says, this is in response to complaints received by the poll body.

He himself went to the specific address given by the complainant.

This was at 2802 Taft Avenue near the LRT 1 station along EDSA.

Jimenez and his team inspected the houses and tenants behind the train station.

He observed that several people were bearing the same address.

Jimenez notes, this situation could be due to a land dispute.

Records of voters are being checked by the poll body ahead of the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections.

The political exercises will be held on May 14, 2018.

Candidates can file their Certificates of Candidacy (COCs) from April 14 to 20.
