Heads up, students!
Admissions officers from several colleges and universities in the United States are coming to the Philippines during a two-day education fair.
A joint partnership between EducationUSA and The Podium, this annual education fair for students interested in pursuing higher education opportunities in the US will feature more than 20 colleges and universities.
The EducationUSA Fair at The Podium is slated on Feb. 27, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will also be held at Radisson Blu Cebu on Feb. 28, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Participating educational institutions include the Aviation Institute of Maintenance, Bowling Green State University, Columbia College Chicago, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Hawai’i Pacific University, Johns Hopkins University School of Education, Kent State University, Missouri Western State University, New York Film Academy, Nova Southeastern University, Ohio University, and more.
During the event, admissions officers will provide free advising services to prospective international students.
Students are invited to listen to representatives from Pima Community College, San Mateo Colleges of Silicon Valley, Shoreline Community College, South Puget Sound Community College, Southern New Hampshire University, Stony Brook University, The College of Saint Rose, The Savannah College of Art and Design, The University of Arizona, The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, University of Hawaii – Kapi’olani Community College, University of Illinois in Chicago, University of Nevada Reno, and Virginia Tech University.
Participants can also learn about the US college application processes, scholarship and financial aid options, and steps to apply for a student visa.
The event is free and open to the public.
