Virtual meeting-appropriate makeup routine

Business on top, lounge on bottom. Today’s work-from-home arrangements have given remote employees the power to dress for the job they have and for the place where they are. The power to only look work-appropriate from the waist up.

Virtual meeting-appropriate makeup routine
Light and even base and a subtle pop of neutral colors achieve that busy-but-fresh work from home look.

Below are some useful makeup tips to appear smart and presentable for those Skype, Zoom, or Facetime meetings.

Start with a fresh base

Virtual meeting-appropriate makeup routine

Without the rush of everyday traffic, keeping skin looking healthy and glowing has become easier. Apply a small amount of BB cream or foundation like Ever Bilena Pro Flawless Finish Foundation starting from the middle of the face going outwards, blending properly using your fingertips or Ever Bilena Blend Me Sponge.

Conceal dark circles

Bad lighting makes those dark circles even darker. Cover them using a concealer one shade lighter than your skin tone. On top of foundation, apply Ever Bilena Liquid Concealer on the darkest shadows of your eye bags to even out the color of your under eye. This concealer can also be used to spot conceal other skin imperfections.

Go easy on the eyeshadow

Virtual meeting-appropriate makeup routine

While it can be tempting to play with those fun, but terribly unused eyeshadow palettes, opt for light or neutral shades. Ever Bilena Eyeshadow Pink Palette consists of six neutral and classic shades that match everyday makeup. It is pigmented and blendable for easier application.

Define your eyes effortlessly

Virtual meeting-appropriate makeup routine

No time to draw a perfect cat eye? Opt for a mascara instead to liven up those peepers. Swipe on EB Advance Lash Define Mascara to visibly define and lengthen top and bottom lashes with its waterproof jet black ink.

And on your lips, too

Virtual meeting-appropriate makeup routine

Go for neutral lipstick shades to make you look more formal. Ever Bilena Matte Nude Lipsticks come in six colors that complement the brand’s eyeshadow palettes.

Add color to your cheeks

Virtual meeting-appropriate makeup routine

It’s pretty easy to look pale in video calls, so add a flush a color on your face. Blend a generous amount of the multipurpose Ever Bilena Matte Color Stick over the apples of your cheeks all the way through your cheekbones for a natural-looking flush.

Check to see if your makeup appears as desired. Sit where there is ample lighting so your colleagues can see you clearly.

The aforementioned products are available on the brand’s official Lazada store.
