Back in December 2010, armed with experience he learned as a hair stylist for other salons and the vision “to develop more creative breed of young talents,” Lourd Ramos set out on his own and established the first Creations by Lourd Ramos Salon at Greenbelt 5.
Fast forward to today, Creations by Lourd Ramos now has seven branches: Somerset Olympia, Greenfields Shaw, Eton Ortigas, One Archers Place Taft, BF Homes Parañaque, Bonifacio Global City Stopover, and the youngest of Lourd’s salon babies, Cedar Executive Bldg. on Arnaiz Avenue.

The past five years have been truly rewarding for Lourd and his brand. While growing Creations he also served as style ambassador and hair care expert for several brands, making him a trusted and respected name in the beauty industry and the go-to stylist to a number of celebrities and ordinary people. It goes without saying that Creations has also become the favorite salon of many.
“Creations was a dream that became a reality,” enthuses Lourd, who built his “empire” through hard work and patience. The success of Creations is also due to the fact that Lourd is a hands on business owner, from planning, product developing, training, to execution.
As creative director, Lourd makes sure that all his employees are guided and trained by him before they serve their clients. They also study at Davines Colour Academy to learn the latest trends and technical product knowledge, from shampoo to post home care products.
On its fifth year, Creations celebrates a milestone by introducing the top stylists in the flock. Called the Magic 8 –composed of Romeo Samellano, Clara Pettersen, JJ Gallego, Herbert Coralde, Elvis Rebanal, Lenard Dulza, Xtian Toledo and Chito Fabello – they are the “new breed of talents honed and developed by Creations.” They are the salon’s spokespersons and Lourd’s counterparts in haircut, hair coloring, styling and makeup.
“They learned my language, my ways, my techniques, and even how I work. I’m proud to say that they have mastered their skills and love our job,” shares Lourd. Suffice it to say, the eight talents are their mentor’s left and right hands.
Creations also presented “Re-Creation of Creations Salon,” featuring the salon’s top artists and the new faces of Creations in a “hair meets fashion” campaign.
The stylists and models Kelly Misa, Monika Sta Maria, Katarina Rodriguez, Ann Casas, Catriona Gray and Mister Asian World 2014 Jayare Doncillo sport the latest hair style and color. Their luxurious garb made by designers John Sherwynn, Isabel Celdran-Koa, Boy Kastner Santos, Eric delos Santos, Joe San Antonio, Gil Granado, and Fashion House by Azucar are made more special with De Novo Diamonds.
