Five loyal Citi cardholders got to drive home brand new BMW 118i sports cars in the recently concluded BMW raffle promotion held by the country’s leading global bank.

Buddy Novenario, Fortunata Fontanilla, Ambrocio Enriquez, Cristy Jemina-Javier, and Tyrell Duncan earned their raffle tickets by simply using their Citi credit cards. In a turnover ceremony led by Citi Philippines Credit Payment Products Director David Stoughton, three of the five winners were awarded keys to the brand new luxury cars. Karl Magsuci, marketing director of BMW distributor Asian Carmakers Corporation, also joined.

“This promotion is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to all our loyal cardholders,” shared Stoughton. “We were very pleased with the response and we are committed to continue designing attractive marketing offers with exciting rewards and promotions all year round.”

Among the winners, founding member Enriquez – whose son and supplementary cardholder, Carlo, earned him a raffle ticket with the use of his Citi credit card through a ride-sharing app – flew back to the Philippines from the U.S. after hearing about his surprising win.

This same fate is shared by another founding member, Novenario, who also won through a similar transaction and was out of the country when the call regarding the win came.

Retired physician Fontanilla used her three-month old Citi Prestige Card while buying groceries, when she instantly earned a raffle entry.

Duncan’s win was made possible when his wife, a Citi Platinum supplementary cardholder, used his Citi card for a fitness enrollment at a gym. Completing the list of winners was Jemina-Javier who swiped her Citi card when she filled her car’s tank with gas, leading to her owning a brand new BMW car.

According to the winners, the Citi promotion made it very easy for them to win – with no minimum spend required, plus multiple ways of earning raffle entries.  With exclusive rewards like this from Citi, along with countless discounts, promotions, and privileges leveraging partner merchants across the globe, Citi cardholders can rest assured they will continue having a rewarding relationship with the country’s leading global bank.
