In a bid to help wipe down the worries, so to speak, of virus lingering on surfaces, consumer and professional goods brand Clorox recently donated 1,000 of its new Disinfecting Wipes to five hospitals in Metro Manila.

The Medical City, St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City, Lung Center of the Philippines, National Children’s Hospital, and Cardinal Santos Medical Center received the new Clorox Disinfecting Wipes.

According to the brand, its new product can kill 99.9 percent bacteria and viruses including SARS-CoV2 that causes COVID-19 within 60 seconds.

“Protecting our medical frontliners is at the top of our priorities. We want to keep them safe and sanitized all day long,” said Paulo Lao, Clorox International sales and marketing director for Southeast Asia. “We want to start from five hospitals, but we’re already securing resources to be able to extend this initiative to more hospitals nationwide.”
