When it comes to inheritance, the Filipino “silver market,” composed of those aged 60 and above, opts for real estate properties, among other tangible inheritances, to pass down to their heirs.
Residential property demand remains strong. Data from Colliers International show take-up of pre-sold condominium units in Metro Manila reached 54,000 in 2018, surpassing its previous record of 52,600 in 2017.
