Trust Max’s Restaurant when it comes to knowing what Filipino palates prefer, so much so they even mastered how to add a twist to their dishes and still appeal to diners.
This holiday season, the homegrown brand introduces four new items in the menu that offer a new take on Pinoy favorites.
Max’s Calderetang Bulalo is a lavish fusion of two Filipino dishes. It’s made with a rich tomato-based beef shank stew with boiled vegetables and topped with melted cheese and sautéed peppers.
Bulalo gets a sizzling update in the restaurant’s Sizzling Bulalo made with tender beef shank lathered in rich and savory gravy, and sprinkled with crispy fried garlic.
Starting at P549, these two new dishes are available for dine-in, takeout, and delivery.
Over at Max’s Corner Bakery, Puto Bumbong Cheesecake and Bibingka Cheesecake are also available for dine-in, takeout, and delivery starting at P289.
A special take on the classic Simbang Gabi kakanin, the puto bumbong with a twist is made with glutinous rice flour with ube flavor, smooth and silky cheesecake, and topped with ube crumbs, coconut, and muscovado sugar.
Bibingka Cheesecake, meanwhile, is made with soft and fluffy vanilla chiffon, smooth and silky cheesecake, and topped with salted egg slices.
