Dine out without hurting your wallet with foodpanda’s newest program

When the COVID-19 pandemic started in 2020, outdoor activities were strictly prohibited to prevent the further spread of the virus. Filipinos, stuck indoors for their safety, resorted to food delivery services to satisfy their cravings.

Still, nothing beats the experience of eating out with friends and loved ones to enjoy good food and create new memories.

Two years later, as the COVID-19 restrictions are becoming lax, people are returning to their old habits of enjoying outdoor activities. Eating out is at the top of the list as many restaurants reopened their doors to more diners.

In hopes of helping diners make the most of their dining experience without breaking their banks, foodpanda launched its dine-in program exclusive to pandapro members. pandapro is foodpanda’s all-in-one subscription program on the app, launched in 2020, where users pay a small amount monthly to enjoy exclusive discounts and benefits from foodpanda, like free deliveries, food discounts, and vouchers.

“We are launching the dine-in program on foodpanda as a part of pandapro’s endeavor to go beyond food delivery and also to engage with our customers better. We have opened up an all-new dining program for our pandapro subscribers,” said foodpanda’s Director of Commercials, Hardik Batra.

Through the new dine-in program, pandapro subscribers will experience more than just limitless and exclusive offers on the app but also save several pesos on their bill every time they dine out.

All subscribers are entitled to a flat discount on the total bill value in partner restaurants, which in most cases is about 25 percent off, for all regular menu items and is applicable on both food and drinks.

foodpanda’s dine-in program is also easy to avail and only takes five steps.

First, pandapro members need to open their app and secure their pandapro subscription. The next step is to click on the “dine-in” option and search for the restaurant they’re dining in.

Once the partner store is selected, pandapro members must confirm their purchase with the restaurant staff before swiping and redeeming their order before enjoying their discounted meal.

“I think with the launch of dine-in, we are finally able to bring pandapro subscribers to the pandapro Club,” Batra added.

pandapro Club is what they’re calling all the subscribers who stayed with foodpanda throughout the pandemic by availing its food delivery services across the country.

Last April 26, foodpanda treated its pandapro Club members to a dine-in event with its partner vendor, The European Diner (TED, in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). TED is among the thousands of restaurants that foodpanda partnered with across the country to provide subscribers with a variety of cuisines.

Guests went around the venue to build connections with other members of the pandapro Club and bond over their mutual love for food while dining in style—one of the many perks of being a pandapro subscriber.

In the coming months, foodpanda aims to enrich every dine-in experience through discounts from their restaurant partners and by hosting more exclusive events for their pandapro Club subscribers to enjoy.
