Caloocan City Councilor Orvince Howard A. Hernandez on Sunday, Mother’s Day, said 10 mothers emerged as grand winners in the “TikToker si Mader” Tiktok Challenge held in the city.
The winners, in no particular order, are Karolle Rasgo Navera, 24; Jean Lopido, 26; Thea Marie Pilapil, 28; Christine Sadang, 30; Jackylyn Dela Rama Polis, 30; Janine Marie Granada, 31; Ma. Crisafel B. Tumanog, 35; Janice Almoete, 39; Elizabeth Goneda Tatad, 39; and Evelyn Mauricio, 46; all residents of the city.
Five other participants were selected as special mention awardees,; Judith Abello Eugenio, 72; Mary Eileen Veraye, 34; Learica C. Valeros, 33; Marylyn Liwag, 25; and Sherelyn P. Tulio.
The grand winners will receive P5,000 each while the special mention awardees will receive P1,000 each.
The Tiktok Challenge was spearheaded by Hernandez for mothers residing in the city as a simple but memorable way of honoring mothers this Mother’s Day amid the pandemic.
Caloocan Mayor Oscar Malapitan lauded Hernandez Tiktok Challenge as morale booster amid the trying times.
Around 1,500 Tiktoker Mothers submitted their entries.
