PBGen. Nelson Bondoc, district director of Northern Police District (NPD) with force commander PCol. Ferdinand Del Rosario and the chief of police of the cities of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela, inspected the NPD Quarantine Control Points within the Camanava area one by one, which will function 24/7.
Bondoc directed the deployed NPD personnel to strictly implement the IATF Health Protocols in the areas included in NCR Plus, which are now under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) and bubble to stop the surging cases of COVID-19.
Some of the quarantine points are located at NLEX Harborlink, Karuhatan Exit in Valenzuela; NLEX Camachile of Caloocan; Rizal Avenue
Extension (RAE) corner 2nd Avenue boundary of Caloocan and Manila City.
Also among the tightly guarded quarantine points is the stretch of H. Lopez St. in front of the BPI which is the boundary of Brgy. North Bay Boulevard, Navotas and Manila; F. Andaya St., Brgy. Wawang Pulo, boundary of Valenzuela and Obando, Bulacan; Pariancillo Villa, which is also the boundary of Valenzuela and Obando, and Arkong Bato, which is the boundary of Malabon and Obando.
Authorities are also closely monitoring Bagong Barrio Edsa, boundary of Caloocan and Quezon City; Road 10 which is the boundary of Navotas and Manila.
The ECQ started at 12:01 am on Monday, March 29, 2021 and will last until April 4, 2021.
