Navotas HOPE Caravan kicks off

Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco led the formation of the first Health Outreach for People Empowerment or HOPE Caravan in the city.

A kickoff program was held in Barangay Tanza attended by children, pregnant women, senior citizens, and those in need of medical assistance.

Among the services given were blood typing, blood sugar testing, blood pressure monitoring, physical and risk assessment, and pneumococcal vaccination for senior citizens.

Tiangco acknowledged the assistance of the national government through the Department of Health in cooperation with the city health office and local social welfare office.
