Clark Freeport—Philippine Air Force Reserve Command headed by Major General Arthur M. Cordura lauded Clark Development Corporation’s effort and unequivocal support to various activities and initiatives that contribute to nation-building.

In his speech during the 41st National Reservist Week celebration, Cordura said PAF acknowledged CDC’s contributions to the country especially in times of disaster and calamities including the present health crisis.

Cordura mentioned some of the activities including medical missions and outreach programs, relief operations even during the height of the Taal Volcano eruption at the onset of 2020, and to communities affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The CDC reservists also help in providing donations of personal protective equipment (PPE) to frontliners, and the provision of education and training programs for IP communities, among others.

PAF also named CDC as affiliated Reserve Unit of the year. The plaque of recognition was received by CDC Assistant Vice President for Business Enhancement Atty. Noelle Mina Meneses held at the Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo in Quezon City.

Meneses serves as the group commander of the CDC reservist group, which is also known as 2320th PAF Affiliated Group Reserve.

The CDC reservists also help in providing donations of personal protective equipment (PPE) to frontliners, and the provision of education and training programs for IP communities, among others.

Other awardees during the NRW celebration are the 1901st Ready Reserve Unit Infantry Brigade as Philippine Army Ready Reserve Unit of the Year, Linaheim Properties Inc. as the Philippine Army Affiliated Reserve Unit of the Year, and the 6th Air Force Wing Reserve (Zamboanga City) as the PAF Ready Reserve Unit of the Year (Wing Level).

Currently, almost 200 CDC employees have undergone and completed Military Orientation Training (MOT) initiated by the PAF. The training included reception activity, lectures, Immediate Action Drills (IAD), Firing or Marksmanship activity and Field Training Exercises.

In November last year, CDC President and CEO Noel F. Manankil signed a memorandum of agreement with PAF for the provision and facilitation of the said program.
