KAMPO HENERAL PACIANO RIZAL — Police Colonel Cecilio R. Ison Jr., Acting Provincial Director of the Laguna Provincial Police Office recently spearheaded their Oplan Ligtas Balik Eskwela 2022.
With the opening of face-to-face classes in all levels nationwide, the Laguna PNP provided security and other public safety coverage to ensure the successful and orderly conduct of Oplan Ligtas Balik Eskwela in Laguna.
City and Municipal Police Stations established Public Assistance Desks (PADs) placed near school premises with personnel ready to render assistance if needed.
Traffic marshals and different force multipliers were also deployed to manage vehicular traffic near school premises and COVID-19 Patrollers are also tasked to ensure MPHS enforcement.
Chiefs of Police of Laguna and other PNP personnel also participated in respective school flag-raising ceremonies to demonstrate the police force’s commitment to the flag and school security.
Ison said: “Laguna Police is ready to render assistance to the public, especially to the students. Their safety and security are PNP’s main priority. We are here to ensure a successful and orderly Oplan Ligtas Balik Eskwela.” Roy Tomandao
