San Pedro City congressional aspirant Dave Almarinez recently facilitated the donation of Moderna COVID-19 vaccines from the private sector to the bustling metropolis in Laguna.
The 10,080 doses of Moderna COVID- 19 vaccines were turned over to the San Pedro City Government led by Mayor Lourdes S. Cataquiz (center seated) through the City Health Office in collaboration with Accenture Philippines on February 12.
Among those receiving the vaccines were Provincial Board Member Abigail Alonte, ABC President Diwa T. Tayao, Former Councilor Andy T. Reyes, LCR Head Riah Fojas, City Health Officer Dr. Robert Olivarez (left seated), Ms. Cynthia Mayores, and Ms. Jill Laserna of Accenture (right seated).
Almarinez, who is known for prioritizing the health and welfare of the people of San Pedro, is running for Congress for the lone district of San Pedro under the Nacionalista Party.
He earlier launched a free public Wi-Fi program in the different barangays in the city, particularly to help the students cope with their online classes, at the Pacita Astrodome inside the Pacita Complex.
Almarinez is the husband of actress Ara Mina. Roy Tomandao
