NAIC, Cavite—A 58-year-old construction worker was hacked to death by his neighbor, a fisherman, at Liha, Barangay Bucana Sasahan here on Tuesday.
PO3 Joel Casipe Angue, officer on case, identified the victim as Mario Catalan. The suspect, Romuel Malones alias “Ron-Ron,” 30, a native of Bongabong, Mindoro Oriental, was arrested after a manhunt.
The Naic Municipal Police Station received a call from a concerned citizen about the incident, and operatives found Angue’s lifeless body at the scene. The cause of Malones’ attack is still being verified.
