Tuao, Cagayan -The local government of Tuao made another noteworthy accomplishment as the newly purchased brand new heavy equipment are ready to take off for the locales lined-up infrastructure projects.
Mayor William N. Mamba led the Ceremonial Blessing of the newly purchased Heavy Equipment together with the Sanguniang Bayan Members, Punong Barangays, LGU employees and was officiated by the towns Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Pio Rino Guaring.
Mamba said, the LGU has managed to outsource funds to purchase brand new heavy equipment needed to bolster development infrastructure projects and environmental-waste management of the locality.
“This brand-new heavy equipment will boost infrastructure projects and hasten the services on waste management of the municipality even in far-flung barangays, Mamba said.
According to Romar Gregorio, the OIC Municipal Planning Development Coordinator, the new fleet of heavy equipment are 2 units Garbage Compactor that cost 7.5 million, 1-unit Backhoe Loader and 1 unit Manlift cost Php 8.1 million with a total amount of 15.6 million.
Apart from the numerous programs and projects for the townspeople, Mayor Mamba who has head back (as Three Term Mayor and three term Vice Mayor), now the current Chief executive following a landslide victory in the country’s May 9 elections is confident that the heavy machinery would foster community growth, development and progress for the municipality.
Earlier, Mayor Mamba was conferred the Award of Distinction of the University of Santo Tomas Law Alumni Foundation Inc. (USLTAFI), through the UST Faculty of Civil Law or his “sterling leadership,” outstanding career achievements, leadership in the profession and notable public service on December 3, 2022. #
