Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan led the ceremony of the lot-awarding for 32 families and issuance of deed of sale for 21 families under the Camarin 1 and 2 Project of the Housing and Resettlement Office (HARO) and the National Housing Authority (NHA).

According to HARO, the said beneficiaries are long-term occupants of the lots from Barangay 174, 175, 176 and 177.

The local chief executive expressed his gratitude to NHA and the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP)-National Capital Region for assisting the city government in its projects aiming to provide socialized housing and lots for qualified residents.

HARO Officer-in-charge Engr. Noemi Obina said that the occupants shall settle a minimal amount payable up to 25 years to the city government which helps secure their current homes.

PCUP-NCR Commissioner-in-charge Reynaldo Galupo also attended the said event and likewise expressed his appreciation to the local government in its commitment to provide accessible shelter to its constituents.
